Once you have completed a particular essay, go to Submissions and upload your essay into turnitin.com. Turnitin.com has a time/date stamp. You must submit your 750-900 word essay by the deadline in order to receive credit. If you have problems uploading, you can also go to the top of that page and change the blue wording from Single File Upload to Cut and Paste Upload. Make sure that you always download and save a copy of your digital receipt. If you have problems with submitting, email your essay to my college address by the deadline. By submitting your essays, you agree to the following:
"I acknowledge that the following work is my own. I also acknowledge that if I am found to have cheated, plagiarized, or used any assistance not specifically allowed by my instructor, Alvin Community College has the right to remove me from the course and take the appropriate punitive measures."
Essays with fewer than the minimum 750 words will always receive a zero. Headings and titles do not count toward the 750 word minimum.
Essay #4 - Rock and Roll
Hope you enjoy this site. It brought back a lot of good memories for me (but unfortunately, didn't do anything for my hearing loss). Try not to write your essay on only what you already know about rock music. Instead, submit an essay on several artists/bands (at least three) that interest you and explore at least one artist/band that you've never heard of. Click on The Inductees and have fun!
