Last week we had a presentation in class and I have to do a reflection on it. I have all his background and the notes I took from it. I will attach everything you need. Brian started his first venture in high school in Wichita, KS. In 2020 this truly “family” business hit its’ 30-year anniversary.

While at KU, and after graduation, Brian worked in Human Resources for a Fortune 50 company. 

In 2004, he was a founding partner of a restaurant operations and development company built around a main purpose, “To Form Lifelong Relationships with Guests”.  This award-winning group grew to 1800 employees and had operations in seven states. 

Brian’s background in family-owned, Fortune 50, and franchise organizations has given him a unique perspective on the role of culture in a business’ success. 

Today, as Chief Operating Officer of Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, he leads operations, training, and innovation teams supporting Franchise groups across the US to help them achieve their organizational goals. 

Based on his experiences, he believes a strong culture of trust, aligned to a main purpose, enables organizations to be agile and innovative.
