Businesses play a key role in responding to and recovering from disasters. Continuity of operations focuses on putting businesses “back in business” as soon after a disaster as is practical. As the world’s largest retail pharmaceutical company, Walgreens is frequently involved in responding to disasters, restoring their business operations and supporting recovery activities.
