Learning Team: Organization Risks and Threats

Your team has been asked by the CIO to help prepare the board of directors for new levels of security costs and risks for the next five years. The board of directors requested a presentation that will provide the current state of IT security, including identification of risks, current practices, and a clear explanation of the proposed budget increases in this functional area.

• Create a 5-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation for the board of directors communicating the different risks the company must consider. These risks may include regulatory, criminal, and others your team considers noteworthy. You may use examples from current newsworthy cases of IT security failures. Include the following:

• Videos, audio, photos, diagrams, or graphs as appropriate
• Substantial speaker notes to elaborate on the key points of your plan
