M15. Assignment 3 - NJ Issue Essay

Please write a 500 to 750 word essay on a NJ issue (something we have argued about in NJ i.e. quitrents in the 1700’s, toll roads in the 1800’s, immigration in the 1900’s and property taxes in the 2000’s) which have made an important contribution in our society.. My sample examples are just that. You can select an issue that you deem to be historically significant to NJ. The key factor for the assignment is that you tell me why this is issue is important historically to NJ. It should be one third fact from college level sources found through the OCC library databases and two-thirds your opinion as to why this issue is historically significant. Please include your sources at the end of the essay with either footnotes or endnotes.
