· Select a grade level and from three websites find math lesson plans that concentrate on a particular math performance from the NCTM Standards for Number Sense and Operations.
· Using the three lesson plans and the standards as resources, create one revised lesson plan using the COE lesson plan template. Be sure the revised lesson plan includes a research-based instructional strategy from the assigned readings. Include specific differentiation in your lesson plan based on the needs of the students described in the Class Profile. Cite the websites you used to develop this lesson plan.
· In addition to submitting the revised lesson plan, submit the links to the three lesson plans that served as your inspiration.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines. This assignment uses a rubric. Class profile is the other attachment.

For this assignment, focus on the group of students in your program of study.
Part One
· Search for sample rules and consider your personal experiences and/or those of your friends or teachers.
· Choose or create your own set of 3-5 rules with consequences for your future classroom.
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
Part Two
· Based on your readings, identify the pros and cons for at least four reward systems.
· Create a reward system that you would implement in your future classroom.
· Write a 250-500 word rationale for your choice of rules, consequences, and rewards.
Your “Rules, Consequences, and Reward System” will be part of your Personal Classroom Management Plan (Benchmark Assignment).
The instructor will provide feedback, which you will then use as the basis for revising the procedures. The revised section will then become part of the complete Personal Classroom Management Plan (Benchmark Assignment), which is due in Topic 8.
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
