Read The novel: Heart of Aztlan by Rudolfo Anaya and discuss the question: Countryside (Rural) vs. City (Urban): The Chavez family leaves Las Pasturas and moves to the Barelas, a neighborhood in Albuquerque.  What does Las Pasturas (Rural) represent the different characters and what does Barelas represent for them? What is Anaya saying by contrasting countryside with the city?
