One lesson plan needs to be written integrating art and science using PK-6th grade-level TEKS. 

For the art and Science lesson, you will identify one art TEKS then determine how to integrate one Science TEKS to align with your chosen art TEKS. 

Post your lesson plan to your group/partner by Wednesday for feedback.

Use the resources in the Lesson Plan Module then be sure to review the rubric to confirm all of the required elements are included before you submit your lesson plan (Also remember the detail in my modeled Rainbow Fish, why? lesson plan during our Zoom which is attached below). NO WATER CYCLE or RAINBOW FISH LESSONS.

o find  the TEKs that you’ll be using for the lesson onthe TEA websiteo List the TEK code and verbage on your lesson plan.o It should look like this:o §113.13.b.4(A) (4) Geography. Start with the end in mind!Lesson should have both formative and summative assessments.o Formatives are assessments FOR learning. These are designed tobe given throughout the lesson to determine gaps in knowledge.o Summatives are assessments OF learning. These are designed tobe given at the end of the learning cycle to determine mastery ofthe learning and TEK.o Examples of formatives:*Daily check-in activities.*Quizzes*Exit slips*Bell ringerso Examples of summatives:*Tests*Performances*Projects*Essays 

Do your assessments PROVE mastery of theTEKs? If not, it’s time to rewrite them so theyalign! Create a rubric for the summativeassessmentAlso known as student learning outcomes or learning targets.Lesson objectives should:o include a measurable component (such as 90% accuracy, or can complete atask 4 out of 5 times)o use action verbs (think Bloom’s Taxonomy) to express what studentsshould be able to do during and at the end of the lesson.

Write the lesson instructions. Write them in a way that a substitute teacher couldenter your classroom and teach that lesson without having any experience or priorknowledge!Be sure to includeall teacher/student materials and student accommodations.

Do your lesson instructions align with your assessment(s) and the TEKs? If not, goback and revise the lesson to create alignment! Have a peer read over your lessonand help you find any gaps in alignment or understanding!
