* You are driving home on the freeway with a friend at rush hour and witness an automobile collision involving one vehicle that has struck a guardrail head on.  The car is still running.  The driver did not have on a seat belt and struck the steering column.  He is seated behind the steering wheel, conscious and complaining of chest and abdominal pain.  The other passenger also was not wearing a seat belt.  She has been thrown from the car and is lying motionless, face down on the side of the road.  She appears to be unconscious.  How do you proceed?  What steps will you take to help?  Be specific and list your process in order.
