social issues in healthcare and consumer information technology.

Nursing Pharmacotherapeutics

Pre-licensure BSN course. Essential concepts and principles of pharmacology as applied to 

baccalaureate level nursing practice. Imparts knowledge and skills required for safe, effective 

administration of therapeutic drugs (including herbal and complementary medications). The 

course covers critical skills related to dosage calculation and medication administration that. 

must be performed without error to achieve a passing grade for the course.
