Exporting is a great strategy. I was reviewing some key issues to deal with when exporting at small business exporting . Which would be your key countries you think would benefit using this type of entry? What are some of the main barriers you think would exist in those markets? Given that overseas production or distribution might even be cheaper, would you have a global supply chain or would you produce and export from the United States.

I can imagine there could be both advantages and disadvantages with some receiving nations possibly having lower barriers than more developed countries. However, the trade off might be in timeliness of order time to when a customer receives the product in hand. Would you be competing on cost to distributors that have location advantage or would there be a dynamic to the product itself that would gain market share?

It is an intriguing idea though. Upon researching it I did find there is quantifiable exportation even to nations like China. This is very interesting when you consider how easy it is to produce goods outside of Western nations. The growing middle class offers opportunities. I even found some procedural guidelines to exporting cosmetics to china .

Great post and idea!
