Milne uses different sources to support her argument. She interviews several doctors who have had the same body image problems, or have experiences in dealing with these problems, which provide ethos to what these experts are saying. Dr. Joan Johnston, 48, an Edmonton family physician, for instance, suffered from anorexia from her late teens until adult years.
