Putin continues to shore up power within Russia and at the same time alienate the rest of the world (at least the west). His invasion of Crimea, his treatment of political dissenters and his strong rhetoric all seem to have some similarities to Hitler prior to his rise in power. What, if any similarities do you see (think world stage, olympics, state of country prior, rhetoric, invasions etc) between Nazi Germany and modern Russia?
