You are a nutritionist and you are delivering a speech on healthy eating.

Your first audience is a “Moms and Tots” meeting of mothers with young children. They convene in the large family room of one of the members.

Your second audience is a group of professional women who get together for a meal every month. They have booked a side room in their favorite restaurant.

You are a high school history teacher and you are giving a speech on the Vietnam War.

You have been invited to speak at the local heritage society in your city. Most of the people in the group are “pillars of the community” and are in their 60s or 70s.

Your second audience is a group of young international students from the local university.
