The structure of your report should be as follows:

1.    Title page (title of your report, your names, student numbers, and word count)

2.    Executive summary (A good executive summary should allow the reader to understand the basic content of the report without reading the report. It often works well to write this at the end, after you have finished your report)

3.    Introduction - give an overview of what your report will cover

Part A

4.    Issue analysis (PLEASE NOTE: Part A is worth 80% of your mark for this assignment))

a.    Explain which issue you have chosen, and how you know this is a CSR issue

b.    Review relevant CSR literature, practitioner papers and websites on the issue and provide a summary of what you have found.

c.    Explain some of the key challenges faced by business in addressing this issue, and identify the main stakeholders and their interests (your review of the literature for point b (above) should enable you to do this)

d.    Give a few (2-4) company examples to illustrate your points and arguments as you go along.

Part B

5.    Specific company analysis (PLEASE NOTE: Part B is worth 20% of your mark for this assignment)

a.    Choose one company (it would be a good idea to choose one of the examples that you have already discussed in Part A, point 3) and explain how your chosen issue is core to its business operations.

b.    What risks does the company face in relation to this issue?
