Obtain/review several school supply catalogs such as Lakeshore, Community Play Things, School Specialty, National School Supply, Kaplan, etc.  Using a budget of $200, choose some basic movement equipment for the following groups: toddlers, 2-to-3-year-olds, 4-to-5-year-olds, 6-to-8, and 9-to-10-year-olds.  For each of these groups, explain: Why you chose each item (use information from Chapter 16). How do you plan to use it (each item must have more than one specific use)? What motor skills does the item address?
