This assignment will help you to clarify your understanding of the research report for disseminating counseling research and program evaluation. Select a peer reviewed research article (cannot be one that you used for a previous assignment/discussion) that relates to your week 1 topic and thoroughly review it. You should use class materials and use the rubric as guides to help you with your research paper. Consider the following sections (your paper may have similar or different sections):

• Dominant research goal/sub goals
• Sampling procedures
• Reasoning (e.g., deductive, inductive)
• Research questions
• Type(s) of data (e.g., numeric, Likert-format, observation notes, transcribed interviews) and data analysis (select at least two examples of data and describe at least one tool/procedure for data analysis for each tradition)
• Inferences/Interpretations from data (e.g., generality, transferability)
• Study limitations (e.g., researcher bias, reporting effect size, transparency) and possible ways to address one or more mistakes

Do not just repeat what the article says. Try to break the article down in to laymen’s terms as if you were trying to describe this study to the general public. Your writing should convey the importance of the research that was conducted in the article to those who may not be familiar with research or counseling terms. I will attach the PPT slides for the chapters we have to reference in our paper, and I cannot use the same article so if you could find articles that related to this topic. My goal/focus is to find out if PCIT increases/decrease conduct disorders/Op-positional defiant disorders in school-aged children
