General Description of the Assignment:
Through this assignment, you will demonstrate your knowledge of the differences among primary, secondary, and tertiary sources using the Spanish-American War. Below are ten sources that discuss the Spanish-American War.
From these ten sources, your task is to find three primary sources, two secondary sources, and one tertiary source. In your response for this assignment, you need to do the following for each of the six sources:
- Identify which type of source it is
- Write 1-2 sentences explaining why each source is a primary, secondary, or tertiary source.
- Write 2-3 sentences on the subject of the source that briefly discusses who wrote the source, when it was written, and what the primary points are that are being made in the source.
