In this unit you learned about interpersonal and group interventions. You also learned about system wide interventions.

For each homework assignment that you submit in this course, you must have a minimum of 3 scholarly sources (peer-reviewed journal articles). Please ensure that you follow standard APA formatting. Your paper must have a title page and a reference page. You must have a minimum of five (5) in-text citations.

Read the case:   Lincoln Hospital: Third Party Intervention beginning on page 322 (Cummings & Worley, 2015).

Respond to the following questions in an essay (3 page minimum).

  1. If you had been called by Lincoln’s president to help resolve the problems described in the case, how would you have carried out the contracting and diagnosis stages? What would you have done differently than what the OD consultant did?
  2. Is third-party intervention an appropriate intervention in this case? Other possible OD interventions?
  3. How effective was the third-party intervention? Next Steps?

Activity #3: Begin Project Milestone # 2

For this unit, read about what you will be doing for the final presentation. You should continue working on your Annotated Bibliography for the research you conduct on this project. You will need a total of eight (8) scholarly sources for your presentation.

For this week, you will start a full sentence outline of your final project that will be due in the next unit as Milestone #2. You will submit the balance of your Annotated Bibliography as well with the additional four (4) scholarly sources which will bring you to a total of eight (8) sources.

Please ensure that you follow standard APA formatting. Your presentation must have a cover page and a reference page. Be sure your presentation is organized, clear, and grammatically correct.
