Upload your first theme to the Canvas Shell. Also, include your outline and reference page with the references used in your Theme 1 -- Always include a title page when submitting assignments.  Remember, this theme should represent the contents of coverage on your first theme (Historical Background) for the actual Section 2/ Chapter II that will be used in your official section/ chapter in the dissertation or project.  It is expected that the coverage of theme 1 will encompass at least 5 pages. A sample table of contents and body for Section 2/ Chapter II has been added to this module in canvas (for your review). Whether you are writing a dissertation or a thesis (project-based), the WCU Dissertation Guide will be your template for formatting the document. The words Chapter and Section are used interchangeably, and you will use Chapters if writing a dissertation and Sections if writing a thesis.
