 Homework: Write another paragraph response to “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics (Youtube);  please think of the nature of your dreams and the ones in the lyrics. With which ones do you identify?  Please become familiar with the notion of dreams for Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung and briefly post your conclusions. Focus on nature, reality, and imagination as presented in the video as well.         

         2. Post in your own words information on an iconic figure of your culture or your community.

You can address the letter to me, your instructor, or to anyone that you would like to. Select good vocabulary, have very good sentence structure and use descriptive words It will be explained in our Zoom session, Sept. 8,  what I expect in this letter. But there is more explanation on the Assignments section. Please start by becoming familiar with the meaning of oppression. Please look up meanings online. 

Think about whether one can oppress oneself and whether this can apply to yourself. Connect your oppression to the content of the "Sweet Dreams" lyrics.
