WEEK 3: SPATIAL PERFORMANCECOLLAPSE

The cognitive ability of spatial performance is all about an object location and how it fits into the space round it.This includes the direction it may be facing, the angle it is,its location in relation to other objects, and the small details that makes it unique or similarto other objects. According to the textbook, American men seems to be slightly better in more areas of spatial skills than women when tested. Of course, this can change due to multiple variables or mental training. Spatial tasks does favoring men (Brannon, L., 2017, p. 179). Fortunately, women are better at memory tasks and identification.

Due to this finding and pointing, it seems men are better at spatial skills. Also. it is believed that men are better at navigation and have clearer perception of their surroundings. This shows that men are believed to be able to excel in areas like video games and computer programming (Brannon, L., 2017, p. 181). It's hard to saythat nature verses nurture being the cause of this perceived gender difference. I feel that nurture affects gender differences in spatial abilities more than nature.
