Download the SPSS data set: teachersurvey.sav.  Not all of the variables in that SPSS file will be used for this assignment.   

In this SPSS assignment, use the tools learned in this course thus far, with an emphasis on the tools acquired in Gravetter and Wallnau (2013) Chapters 12 and 14 and George and Mallery (2014) Chapters 12 and 13.

1.) Using SPSS, please conduct a one-way ANOVA to test for differences in productive scores (ProdOne) in relationship to subject taught (topic). 

a.) Which variable is the dependent variable and which is the Factor?

b.) Conduct the ANOVA using SPSS.  Present the findings in APA format and modeled after the table found in Gravetter and Wallnau (2013) page 408. 

c.) What is the effect size?  (Hint: Partial Eta Squared can be used; to obtain Partial Eta Squared use the General Linear Model approach to the analysis).

d.) Report the results in a narrative using APA format (see Chapter 5 of the APA manual).

e.) What can be concluded from these results?  Be sure to consider possible study limitations and recommendations for future research.

2).  Conduct a two-way ANOVA to test if there is a significant difference in self-esteem (using the ScoreTwo variable in the teachersurvey.sav data set) across gender and across topic areas.  Secondly, is there an interaction effect between these factors?

a.)  Report the three hypotheses sets (null and alternative) associated with this research problem. 

b.)  Conduct the analysis using SPSS, present the analysis using APA format (use the table as a model from Gravetter and Wallnau (2013) page 502).

c.) Report the results in a narrative using APA format (see Chapter 5 of the APA manual).

d.)  What can be concluded from these results?  Be sure to consider possible study limitations and recommendations for future research.
