What is momentum? (Please don't limit it by saying that it is ##m*v##. At least tell what this formula means.)
Quantity of movement
Momentum is also known as quantity of movement (atleast in my language they are synonyms). In other words, it is the way of quantifying the movement that an object has.
So intuitively we can say that an object has more "power" of moving if it has more momentum. A Truck at 80 km/h has more momentum than a car at same speed cause it's more difficult to stop it (we need more forçe or energy to stop it). It has more quantity of movement that we have to reduce to negate its movement, if it makes sense.
Hope it helped and hope my words were able to describe my thoughts though I wasnt using my usual language.
