What is the difference between the actor-observer effect and the self-serving bias?

What is the difference between the actor-observer effect and the self-serving bias? 

I know that both have to do with attributing our own mistakes to external factors and the mistakes of others to internal factors, but I haven't been able to find any differences between the two.
