What is viscosity?

Viscosity is the resistance of a liquid to flow.

This means that it is more difficult for a liquid to flow, such as honey mentioned before, because of it's intermolecular bonds.

Meaning that it is more difficult for the particles behind in the "river" of flow to move over the particles in front of it because of cohesion due to strong intermolecular forces resulting in a more viscous liquid.
