- Estimation Plan- Develop an estimation plan for project cost, schedule, staff requirements and at least one other resource. Describe the methods/tools/techniques to be used, historical information, level of confidence, and plan for re-estimates. Uses at least two of the techniques in chapter 6.
- Staffing Plan- Staffing plan includes skill identification, # of people per skill type, identification of when different people are needed and or how long, and how skill sets will be obtained.Show how staffing plan is aligned with project schedule and is based on estimates.
- Resource Acquisition Plan- Identify what resources other than people are needed, who is responsible for acquiring them, what approvals are needed, and identify points in project schedule where resources are needed. Resources should include equipment, computer hardware and software, service contracts, transportation, facilities and administrative services.
- Project Staff Training Plan-Identify special training that will be needed to ensure sufficient skill levels.Include types of training, number of personnel to be trained, entry and exit criteria for training, and training methods. Include both managerial and technical skills.
