Write a 3 page essay on Human Rights and Poverty.

The rich states confirm the fact that effective governments of poor countries are often subjected to excessive power and control of ruling governments. Developed countries can also criticize their policies and large sums of money cannot always save poor countries. It is necessary to help these countries from a much deeper level. Very often severe poverty is fueled by local misrule and ignorance. Therefore, it is evident that severe poverty is not only a result of mismanagement and bad governing of the country, but it is a more complex and profound phenomenon (The State of the Poor, 2011). In another article there is made an attempt to show negative consequences of power on the society on the example of the students from a large public university in the Southeast. There was made an attempt to foster social empathy among students by helping them to try on a role of a poor student. The simulation contributed much to a personal development of a student and on the basis of questionnaires and qualitative data it was found out that the students could better understand and appraise the conditions of their lives (Nickols, Nielsen, 2011). Moreover, some challenging conclusions were also made in this type of researches and studies. Poor people have always been looking forward an opportunity to get out poverty, but in the result of their actions they could in a better case to find another opportunity to have a better job. Thus they could think in a deeper and a more profound way, but very often they did not have such an opportunity. Very often people blame poor people of poverty, but rarely they try to understand these people and try to help them. Therefore, there is an evident misbalance between people's attempts to get used to poverty and the ways they can deal with poverty. Poor people very often do not become poor people because of their lazy nature or something like that. They are prevented from having an equal access to health care or a proper social support. It is possible to sum up public opinion to poverty in the following way: "it is likely that attitudes toward the poor and attributions of poverty are related to positions on public policy. Perhaps students who experience the poverty simulation will be more empathetic toward people they encounter as professionals, and more supportive of poverty reduction efforts" (Healy, 2008). Social work is a reliable connecting link between poverty and fair-standard living. This profession helps people to be more sympathetic and promote their mission in a more open and easy way. There is no doubt that this profession is a must at the international level. Social work can provide the modern society with numerous fair decisions and social workers can bridge a gap between people from different social layers. Of course, not only talking, but also actions are necessary steps in dealing with poverty around the world. For example, in the document the Millennium Declaration of the importance of human rights, equality, and non-discrimination for development, the key issues of dealing with poverty have been missed (Healy, 2008). Very often discrimination result in poverty and it is necessary to eradicate both the roots of discrimination and poverty from the society. It is possible to eradicate poverty at different levels, but for this purpose it is necessary to integrate the efforts of different organizations and authorities of the global society. If poverty is
