Write a brief on Syria
This is a brief about Syria. For Briefing, requirements are more exacting and thus earn you more points. You will be required to provide a brief history of your region/country in the 20th & 21st centuries. It is to be a minimum of 6 pages and a maximum of 10 pages. It is to be double-spaced and include a title page and a bibliography or works cited page. [Both the title page and the works cited page DO NOT count as part of the brief]. How you format your paper, MLA or other styles, is up to you; just be consistent. The above criteria apply for all briefings Also, your own perspective on that history and your country/regions' place in the world based on their history is to be included. Basic writing criteria for all of your papers, his means, among other things, that there is an introduction the clearly states what is your topic, your writing format (comparison, argument, etc.), and your thesis. That there is a main paper body that supports and illuminates your thesis with facts and supporting evidence [Always assume the readers of your paper knows nothing about your topic. So, what background information is needed to support your facts?]. That there is a conclusion to sum it all up. Again, the paper is to include a title page and a bibliography or works cited page that are not counted as part of your paper. The bibliography or works cited page must list all works providing information for your paper [books, your textbook, articles whether online or not, etc., with proper citations. Again see the LRC people.]. These sources are to be on a separate page from the body of your paper and as stated above do not count as a page in your paper. You are to provide a paper on current events plus whatever else is of interest to you from your AOI in 3 of the briefings.
