Visualization is encouraged, in the form of graphic representation of some aspect of the sound as you experienced it, rhythmic and/or melodic, typically on an XY axis, X (horizontal) being time, Y (vertical) being pitch, with references to lyrics and picturization. 

YOU MUST refer to at least TWO books, articles, or other print reference materials used in this course in your papers. These references must be correctly cited according to the bibliographic style of the Ethnomusicology Journal, or else according to MLA style.
