Write an original comparison/contrast rough draft. You may compare two items which are similar but also have dissimilarities, or you may contrast two items which are different but also have similarities. This assignment is not expected to be a final draft; however, you want to make sure to follow the organization described in the lecture. You will also benefit from viewing the interactive in the lecture that demonstrates how to write this rough draft. You are welcome to use outside sources, but the rules of APA style apply. This assignment does not require research; however, if you do choose to do research to help you support your thesis, you must cite your sources using APA style citations and bibliography. (Please see the APA resources located in our syllabus. Start with the DVU Student APA Training Video.) Failure to use APA when using sources will be subject to the Academic Integrity Policy. This assignment supports TCOs 1, 2, and 5.
