writing about Research Methodology

I need a help in writing a chapter a bout "Research Methodology" and in my report,the sampling technique that will be used is " Simple random sampling technique".

So you can write a bout research methodolgy in general and also focus on Simple random sampling technique. 

The references should be in Harvard style.
