You've been tasked by the administration of Bayview Hospital to review their current network set up and make recommendations about improving and scaling up the network.

The hospital building has 8 floors, with floors 1-3 containing medical and administrative offices and floors 4-8 containing patient rooms. Current network has 8 segments (1 per floor, consisting of Ethernet hubs and switches) that connect to a single router that also connects to the Internet. Floor one contains application and database servers with medical and patient records. There is a plan to increase the number of servers and upgrade them to faster hardware, with high availability being a requirement. User currently complain of slow access to servers.

The administration wants to install a secure wireless network on floors 4-8, so doctors and nurses could have mobile access to all patient records, x-rays, etc. wherever they are on patient floors. The number of wired devices on all floors is also expected to increase.
