You will prepare and submit a term paper on Applying for the PhD DBA Program in University. Your paper should be a minimum of 1000 words in length. From the said professional job experiences, I have developed a strong inclination and motivation towards learning the inner rudiments of any subject area. I have realized that the aspects of research as well as comprehending the research methodology are the key areas for reaching an eventual and well-developed outcome. I have been able to comprehend that the DBA program’s objective is also set on the same line to offer the learners an opportunity to assimilate knowledge and apply general research to rectify issues or problems in the workplace (Northwestern Polytechnic University, 2012). Therefore, I have complete faith and believe that through completing the course, I would be able to better understand the real world scenarios in the workplace, which would, in turn, facilitate me to make rational decisions in difficult circumstances. In order to illustrate my background preparations and my eligibility towards pursuing the said program, I would like to inform that I have completed my Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2011 from Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi, with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.8. I have also graduated with a Bachelor of Public Administration degree with a grade point average of 3.1 from the National Academy of Public Administration in Vietnam. Therefore, I possess an academic background in the field of business administration which would certainly enable me to grasp the intricacies of the DBA program very promptly. In relation to my work experience, I would like to mention that at present I am employed as a sales and marketing manager (business analyst) in Acronics Systems Inc. in San Jose, California. The work experience gained in the organization has facilitated me to work on the development of a proprietary system in order to manage and measure each day’s operations. Thus, in the course of developing such a system, I started to grow my interest in research, which has also motivated me to gather more knowledge and develop my skills even more so that in future I can provide benefit to my organization. I have experience in the teaching field as I worked as a teaching assistant for two months in Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi, College of Business. This experience has also made me inquisitive towards learning in depth about research as I was involved in conducting research on e-commerce and relating the benefits of the Internet in business during my tenure as a teaching assistant. Moreover, in Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi, I participated in certain invaluable activities as the Vice President of Public Relations. I was part of the Vietnamese Student Association. I participated in a student research symposium during this period and prepared a thesis on e-commerce websites influence the purchase intentions of online shoppers in the United States. These involvements have not only enriched my knowledge and made me more inquisitive to pursue higher studies but also have earned me certain awards and certificates. I received a certificate of business analyst and a certificate of project management that acted as motivation for me to reach greater heights in the future.
