The process of technological development is closely connected with the history of human’s evolution. Since ancient times, people tried to create appropriate environment for the development of their lifestyle. This predetermined the significant changes, which greatly influenced the conditions of human existence. The aim of this work is to analyze what caused humans to introduce technological and other innovations.
Ancient people used to live in the world, where the technology was at the lowest level, which made their life particularly difficult. Nowadays, archeological discoveries provide us with the data about ancient innovations, such as writing, works of art, farming and so forth. These innovations were predetermined by the necessity of the population to survive. “The study of the evolutionary progressions that led to the development of the human species experienced a major breakthrough in the work of Charles Darwin, whose writings dealt with the evolution of all natural species and their adaptation to circumstances that promote a survival of a group” (Smith, Bonnie G., 2012).
Thus, during their existence people worked on the improvement of their abilities, which revealed in different spheres of their life. These innovations increased human’s abilities to determine their own destinies in the way, that they could share their experience with others. Writing, for example gave ancient tribes an opportunity to transfer their experience to the followers. Scholars have reconstructed life in the earliest period from the archeological point of view. Studying material objects and findings, DNA analysis and so forth, they revealed that the results of all these discoveries belonged to the experiments, which nowadays undergone a wide practical historical analysis.
Concluding this article, it is important to state that ancient population was concentrated on discovering the technological innovations as it was the essential part of their existence.
