Your IRB application will require an organizational letter of support. This letter may be drafted by your Sponsor, if the sponsor has a position with this type of responsibility. Alternately, another designated official at the sponsoring organization with a scope of responsibilities that would allow for project approval may  write the letter. (For example, a nurse practitioner within the practice may serve as your sponsor, but the practice owner may be the head of the sponsoring organization and draft the letter).
