ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY Discussion- must use US references. Although I appreciate the sharing of your own personal experiences, these topics are meant to be scientific.  Valid sources of scientific information using MLA or APA citation are required per the Rubric for Discussions.  Some examples of sources come from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institute of Health, MedLine, and the Mayo Clinic. Cite sources to prevent plagiarism. Review the discussion rubric for grading criteria.  When multiple sources are being used, students will provide in-text citations to show which part(s) of their work came from which source(s).  

You will not be able to see other posts until you make your initial post.  Make sure to come back on a separate day to respond adequately to at least three other peers.

Your initial post is due by the due date stated on the Course Schedule hyperlinked within the left Syllabus Tab.

• I want you to pick ONE of the following topics listed and bring some fresh insight on how this disease affects humans. My topic I have chosen is Guillain Barre Syndrome

RUBRIC- Meets the 200 word minimum requirement AND entry contains thoughtful, substantive ideas that are well-developed AND addresses all of the Topic directions. Students will use spell check along with propergrammar before submitting work. Emoticons and other computer jargon such as lol, ttyl, etc, have no place in thisprofessional forum. MLA citations will be used to cite the valid sources. 200 Word Count does not include the count for citations. Reliable references are used and all scientific data is cited properly. I do not expect students to be experts on the discussions in this course. The learning that will occur in these forums will be as accurate aspossible so we must use scientific evidence. You must use websites as citations a copy and paste will suffice here.Students must use in-text citations to show which part(s) of the information came from which source. The citation will take me DIRECTLY to the information cited. E.g. students will not simply give the general source such as www.cdc.gov for the Zika virus but rather http://www.cdc.gov/zikavirus.gov
