What a great example of how to be "self aware". It definitely means that not only to be in control of your emotions but also to have confidence  in doing things that will be a positive change. So many times I see nurses have great ideas but dont really talk to anyone about them. Being a good nurse leader will see things that need to be changed and do everything in their power to make that happen. Being assertive and confident in critical to leading a nurse team.
