This essay declares that fordism and scientific management offer very different approaches, but they are also considered to be complementing each other. The theory of F. W. Taylor is considered to be one of the most outstanding and appreciated theories about company’s management. Taylorist ideas implies that the main goal of company’s administration is to organize the working process in such a way to assure the success for the head of the organization as well as employees’ satisfaction and higher productivity with less effort taken. It is important to mention that Ford’s mechanization of manufacturing shows some well-known and appreciated ideas of scientific management as separated from human feelings: “‘humans as instruments or machines to be manipulated by their leaders’. Fordism combined and highlighted the scientific approaches to make the production processes of the organization more efficient.

This paper makes a conclusion that the assembly line created for the Ford Model T is highly appreciated and applied all over the world.
