Hello, I am looking for someone to write an essay on Girl Interrupted and The Yellow Wallpaper. It needs to be at least 750 words.

This research will begin with the statement that in the midst of human evolution for the last several decades, one of the most pertinent issues has been the women discrimination in the society. Although there has been a remarkable change in the way society treats women and femininity, feminine issues remain pertinent within the modern society. Different means are used to communicate the sensitive issues affecting women. It is possible to construct a concise and deep understanding of feminine issues through thematic analysis of different films or literary works. The film “Girl Interrupted” depicts the social issues affecting women in the society by using the constructs of emotionally conflicted young women. The main actor, Suzanna, among other young women is taken to a rehabilitation center after being diagnosed with various mental and emotional issues. The happenings in Claymoore Hospital suffice to explain the theme of escape from the entrapment of social quagmire. Actually, the most prominent theme in this film is the theme of escape. The mentally unstable Suzanna, first signs in to the rehabilitation center as she tries to escape the issues of life that could possibly have been the cause of her unstable emotional status. She is believed to have tried to commit suicide by taking an overdose. This can be seen as a plan to escape the harsh conditions of life face by women. The rehabilitation center seems like a safe haven for her as she escapes the realities of the outside world but later, it becomes evident that there exists more issues to escape from. Within the confines of the hospital, Suzanna finds that the hospital staff and other mentally unstable young women are giving her a hard time and opts to escape from these problems by going to seclusion room. However, the seclusion room has its challenges too. Although the seclusion room provides discrete lifestyle and calm, it does not provide total freedom and therefore, she still yearns to go back to the real world. Finally, she is able to escape the confines of the hospital through the marriage proposal. These events depict the exact life experienced by women especially for the last several decades. The societal constructs presents an overwhelmingly challenging life for women to the extent they can be termed as emotionally unstable. They try all the avenues to escape these challenges but are often faced with more difficulties as they try to escape (Miller 7-22).

On the other hand, the film “The Yellow Wallpaper” depicts the femininity challenges through the main actor, Charlotte, as she is confined to a room with yellow wallpaper. Charlotte and her husband Weiland become impoverished after a fire burned all they had including their only daughter. Because of the predicaments that face the family, Charlotte goes into a mental confinement because of being overwhelmingly stressed. She becomes isolated from the realities of the world as she tries to exercise the only freedom she has, exercising the freedom of her mind. When she is left in isolation in the house with the yellow wallpaper, she tries to decode the graphics and images in the wallpaper. Her overwhelming activities in trying to decode the images in the wallpaper are a true reflection of the modern society whereby, women are trying to utilize the available resources to express themselves to the world. Her husband tries to warn her of her overdriven mental activity claiming that it will make her go insane. However, it is evident from the scenario that the insanity expressed by the young woman is a result of suppression of her imaginative power. She is trying to express her feelings in order to escape from the mental isolation that hinders her from expressing her mental prowess and ideas. The film is a true reflection of reality whereby, women
