Below are the details:
You are the transportation manager of a 3rd party logistics provider that delivers fast moving consumer goods to malls and retail shops that has a time window when it comes to receiving goods. Like for the local SM Malls, they start to receive merchandise from 9AM to 12noon and another window from 1PM to 4PM.
(1) The question is what are the considerations you have to make to ensure that all deliveries will be successful?
(2) What specific mathematical techniques can be applied to up the probability of consistently and reliably making all the deliveries successful?
The deliveries must be successful. Meaning, received and duly signed off by the customer. If not, the collection process of the company will not start. And all our efforts only produced cost (and expenses). Not sales.
(3) I want to answer the question by using a 3-column table. The first column for consideration. The second column for the specific mathematical techniques. And the third column, how will the technique help.
