An example of which is the creation of emails, and the social media that are now being used to connect with people around the globe by the modern generation. One evident change that media convergence has imparted to everyday life is in the aspect of convenience both in time and cost. When speaking of time, media convergence has allowed people to make use of a single device in, for instance, doing a research work since they do not have to spend much time in the library to search for sources due to the availability of online books, and scholarly journals in online databases. Many people are also able to save cost because instead of buying multiple devices to watch a movie, they may opt to purchase a single device that has all in one features. What is meant by the term media convergence with regard to business, and how has it affected everyday life?
