Primarily, grounded theory is an inductive research methodology that derives theory from a systematic approach of comparative analysis of data. This approach focuses on generating concepts and theory directly from empirical data rather than using existing theory, pre-defined concepts, or hypotheses. Using this methodological approach, I derived the theory of “pipelining.
