Need an research paper on the role of leadership in attracting youth to the church. Needs to be 6 pages. Please no plagiarism. Not everyone can be a leader because leadership needs specific talent and capability coupled with knowledge and strength of good character. Such leadership is more evident when it has to do with religion and the Church.

Especially in these Modern times, being a leader is by no means an easy task. It calls for a lot of sacrifices and hard work because the youth of today are not the youth of a few centuries ago. Human beings are like institutions that undergo various changes throughout their lifespan. In the beginning, they are filled with vigor and vitality, but over a period of time, due to lack of proper guidance or laxity on the part of its leaders, monotony sets in and one loses their interest. Hence one of the vital keys to rejuvenating their interest is good leadership.

This thesis tends to enumerate the major role that leadership plays in attracting the youth to church.&nbsp.

In the present day scenario, it has become quite evident that the clergy, as well as the general public, show a deep concern about the youth showing disinterest in church life. A survey that was conducted recently in America proved that even though America is a God-fearing nation, the attendance of youth in church services has reduced significantly over the decades. (Coble, 2001) Because of the lack of religious guidance, the youth of today have gone on a rampage of violence, drugs, and crime to an alarming degree because they view the church as being old-fashioned and its members' hypocrites.

Another factor that plays a major role in dissuading the youth from the church is the fact that the modern media has a great influence on them and they don’t have to leave their houses to listen to the word of God. Moreover, most of the youth read the best selling authors who are atheists themselves. It is quite evident that the church has lost its dynamism and creativity in dealing with the problem and hence the youth find the monotony and bureaucracy that characterizes modern traditional churches, an unwelcome intrusion.&nbsp.
