Why is mass more useful than weight for measuring matter ?
Because mass is constant and weight depends on the gravity.
As I said before the mass of any body as long as it doesn't have any leak is constant. But the weight is a force.
Then it is m##×##a, which in our specific case a##=##gravity. And gravity is a changing property depending the location of the measurement.
