JoAnne Galloway, points out that he had not talked to any witnesses nor reviewed any of the information but had already made a decision on what his clients deserved in terms of a ‘deal’. He is heading up a defense and does not care about the guilt or innocence of his clients. The second major ethical problem that must be addressed is the truth of guilt or innocence. A court of law, as it is reflected in the movie industry, is a theater in which either one story or another is more plausible. In the film, the lie has been constructed that two men, Pfc. Louden Downey and Lance Cpl Harold W. Dawson took it upon themselves to do a ‘code red’ on Pfc. William Santiago because his performance had been sub-standard.
