Search for a retail product on Google several times, and related products, then visit Yahoo or another popular site to see if your past behavior is helping advertisers track you. Then visit your Facebook page and examine the ads shown in the right margin. What is being advertised and how do you believe it is relevant to your interests or online behavior?

To earn full credit, post an initial response of a minimum of 500 words that includes at least one APA citation and the associated reference.

ASSIGNMENT

The American Marketing Association published the definitive code of ethics for American marketers.  (However, each region/country has its own code of ethics for marketing.)  Review the code and become familiar with its content.

Goal.  Using a 5-7 page APA-formatted essay, identify and describe an e-commerce marketing event/effort.  After describing it, use the AMA’s code to determine whether it was ethical.  Present your judgment of the event/effort.  Be sure to cite your sources!
