If you have trouble understanding the types of evidence in the documents provided, you should talk with your on-site and off-site mentor to discuss samples of evidence they have used for each of the Five Domains for the Administrator PGS Evaluation.  This is not an assignment for your mentors, but it is your assignment to present the information you have gathered. 

You may also look back to your textbook from EDL 602 Roles of the Principal, School Leadership for Results a Focused Model by Beverly Carbaugh and Robert J. Marzano and look for samples of acceptable evidence ( artifacts, tangible documents that would be gathered and uploaded) for each of the five (5) Domains and the 19 standards found within all five Domains in the Administrator's Evidence Collection Sheet (a link is found within the module to access the sheet). 

Once you have the information, you will create a video presentation of the evidence you seek to gather as a new administrator when you are evaluated.  YOU MUST USE THE FEATURE WITHIN CANVAS TO RECORD YOUR VIDEO. You may NOT use other recording tools, as I cannot open other tools I must download.

2. Teaching and Learning- Standards 5-8
3. Staff Development- Standards 9-12
4. Strategic Planning and Systems- Standards 13-16
5. Personal Leadership and Growth- Standards 17-19

  Please follow the directions below to create your video presentation within Canvas.  YOU MUST USE THE FEATURE WITHIN CANVAS TO RECORD YOUR VIDEO. The entire video should be no more than 4-5 minutes.  If your video is too long, it will not upload or play properly within the module.  

• Create a script before you start recording. Time yourself to make sure you are within the time limits.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO READ THE SCRIPT!! You will state the Domain and verbally share the evidence that could be used to prove you have met the requirements within the rubric of the Domain and standards. Remember that evidence is the tangible item you can save to show or upload into the rubric as an administrator. For this assignment, you are not sharing your screen to show the evidence; you are simply stating what types of evidence could be used per domain.
• Ensure there is nothing in the background that would distract your audience. This is also a form of practice for future administrators, speaking in public.  Conduct yourself professionally for the recording.
